Becca Barrett (they/them) is a voice practitioner, coach, and performer based in London, UK with a background in musical theatre, consent education, and gender studies. They are currently on the faculty of four major drama schools in the UK, including LAMDA and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where they teach spoken voice, singing, and accents. They are a co-founder and co-director of On Voice, a coaching collective dedicated to providing accessible, affordable, and inclusive voice coaching to communities who need it. Becca’s specialty is in gender-affirming voice coaching for performers, and they coach a range of clients in Hollywood, on Broadway, and in the West End. Becca is also a performer, most recently playing the role of Adult Allison in Fun Home (Kahilu Theatre) and are often onstage in their Drag King persona Cantor Niran. They have an MFA in Voice Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, an MA in Musical Theatre from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and a BA in Theatre Performance and Gender Studies from Wagner College.
