To accurately value our Conservatory Program classes, we have dedicated a significant amount of time, research, and thought to a fair and sustainable cost of tuition. This value includes:
Our world-class faculty, who rigorously and personally train TK Studio actors to succeed in a highly competitive industry.
Our modern facilities in the heart of Brooklyn’s Industry City, a burgeoning community of creatives that is accessible to, and yet separate from, the hyperstimulation of the city.
Building on nearly four decades of training actors, TK Studio has refined a process to access the depth and breadth of human emotion and imagination to inspire powerful performances while protecting and promoting the actor’s well-being.
Financial Aid and Scholarships
We want our classes and programs to be accessible to artists from all backgrounds and lived experiences, and to that end, we do provide a limited number of Work Study opportunities to students who qualify. Work Study students are selected based on proven financial need, and positions are granted to students who demonstrate both a helpful role in our artistic community and a consistent commitment to their studies at Terry Knickerbocker Studio. Currently enrolled students who are interested in learning more about Work Study opportunities may contact our Student Services.
TK Studio is also proud to offer The Excellence Scholarship, which provides awards between $500 and $2,000 toward tuition for artists of color in the Conservatory Program.
