For the first time ever, TK Studio will be offering a Part 2 of our Intensive Program, open specifically to students who have already completed Class 1-18 of the Meisner work either with us, or in their travels.
Part 2 of the Intensive will include class 19-42 and will continue the sequence of exercises of the classical Meisner work. We will:
- Let go of the repetition, while maintaining the core skill of working from unanticipated moment to unanticipated moment.
- Expand and deepen the independent activity in order to explore every aspect of the actor’s temperament.
- Begin working emotional preparation- an essential tool in the actor’s toolkit,
- Finish with a scene that engages the deeper realms we’ve explored in the exercise work.

Students are encouraged to also enroll in Conservatory Essentials for comprehensive actor training.
Working with Kendrick has pushed me in ways I wouldn’t normally get from a typical classroom setting. He is demanding in the best way and always wants to push you to be your best. That’s his number one priority as a teacher: pushing towards and fostering as much growth as possible in his students.
