In the last two decades Catherine Dyer has built an impressive resume on both sides of the camera. As an actress she is best known as the evil Agent Connie Frazier in season 1 of the Netflix mega-hit Stranger Things. She can currently be seen opposite Chris Pratt in Amazon’s thriller The Terminal List and later this year will appear opposite Benicio Del Toro in Reptile on Netflix.
Catherine has Guest Starred on Sweet Magnolias, The Morning Show, Just Beyond, Black Lightning, Queen Sugar, Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings and as Alexis Stevens on the Fox medical drama The Resident. Other TV guest appearances include, Greenleaf, Halt and Catch Fire, Sleepy Hollow, Zoe Ever After, The Inspectors, and on the hit CBS show, Scorpion.
Film credits include The Founder with Michael Keaton, Dirty Grandpa as Zac Efron’s mom opposite Robert DeNiro, Cell in a pivotal role opposite Samuel L. Jackson and John Cusack, and as the ex-wife of Jeremy Irons in An Actor Prepares. Catherine also appeared opposite Sandra Bullock in the Oscar-winning film The Blind Side, Demi Moore in The Joneses, and as Arnold Schwarzenegger’s wife in the action thriller Sabotage.
Catherine also spent seven years as a Supervising Producer at A&E Networks garnering her a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in 2003.
Catherine is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and is a member of Actor’s Equity, SAG-AFTRA and is a voting member of the Television Academy (Emmys).
