Andrea Murillo is a creator, performer, and teacher currently residing in New York City. Shortly after graduating from the New World School of the Arts, she began touring with the Martha Graham Dance Company on both international and national tours. Andrea then transitioned to New York’s “Sleep No More,” where she played numerous leading roles, including Lady Macbeth. Additionally, she has performed with the Instituto Nazionale Dramma Antico in Sicily for their productions of “Le Baccanti” and “Prometeo.” She has also worked as a Master Interdisciplinary Arts Teacher with the National Young Arts Foundation and is a certified Gyrotonic Expansion System Teacher. Andrea screened her dance film “Conduit” at the Lincoln Center Dance On Camera Festival in 2019 and premiered an interdisciplinary evening-length work titled “EVENTIDE” at the Hand to Hand Festival in Philadelphia in 2020. In 2023, Andrea co-founded 3AM Theatre, a performing arts collective located in Long Island City, New York. Andrea is a recent graduate of The Terry Knickerbocker Acting Studio and is currently a resident teacher at The Mark Morris Dance School.
