Meghan Mulcahy is an NYC-based director, teacher, and actor. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Meghan went on to study at the Meisner Studio at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she earned her BFA in Drama and expanded her artistry in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Barcelona, Spain. She is the proud daughter of two public school teachers, and has followed in their footsteps to teach academics and the arts for over 10 years; in addition to theater, Meghan loves to talk about grammar, geometry, television, and Spanish.
Meghan has trained to teach the Meisner technique under the formidable Terry Knickerbocker, Nate Flower, and Karen Chamberlin, and, in addition to teaching at TKS, she is currently an adjunct faculty member at NYU, where she works as a director and teacher for students from primary to advanced training. Most recently, Meghan directed The MSNR Studio’s productions of Little Women and The Children’s Hour and has had the privilege of assistant directing alongside Caroline Neff in Spring 2024’s Cherrywood, Nate Flower in 2023’s The Chekhov Project and Vicki Hart in Pale Blue Dot(s). A thousand thank you’s to the communities at TKS and NYU for their mentorship and inspiration.
