Cynthia Navarro
Movement Teacher
Cynthia Navarro is a Dominican American artist born and raised in New York City. A classically trained dancer in Flamenco and Ballet at Ballet Hispanico, she went on to major in Dance at LaGuardia H.S. of Music, Art and the Performing Arts. Cynthia’s acting training includes the Meisner and Williamson Techniques studied at the Maggie Flanigan Acting studio in NYC.
Beyond performing, Cynthia is a passionate educator, currently sharing her knowledge at NYU’s Tisch Meisner studio Future Artists Program and Terry Knickerbocker Studio. She also finds joy in expressing her creativity through painting, ceramics, and caring for her plant collection. As a proud mother of three young boys, Cynthia embraces life’s challenges and finds inspiration in her love for the performing arts. She continues to hone her craft as a movement director, actor, and dancer, fueled by dedication and a desire to share her passion with others.
