Founded in 2016, TK Studio has become a premier New York City acting school, training artists in Sanford Meisner’s innovative technique. This city and this studio are our home, and we welcome students from around the world to join us in the pursuit of artistic excellence.
About Our Founder,
Terry Knickerbocker
Terry Knickerbocker has dedicated thirty years to acting, directing, coaching, and producing in NYC. A direct artistic descendent of Sanford Meisner, he trained with William Esper and was a core faculty member and alumnus of NYU’s Experimental Theatre Wing.

Located in Brooklyn’s Industry City, Terry Knickerbocker Studio offers a welcoming home for actors and artists. Our accessible facilities accommodate various gatherings, with rehearsal spaces available for private or public events.
