John Murray is a comedian, actor, and sketch writer based in Brooklyn with over 20 years of experience in long-form improv. He has performed and taught across the United States, as well as in London, Scotland, and Canada.
John Murray is a comedian, actor, and sketch writer based in Brooklyn with over 20 years of experience in long-form improv. He has performed and taught across the United States, as well as in London, Scotland, and Canada. John also teaches at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. A graduate of the two-year program at TK Studios, John studied under Terry Knickerbocker and Celestine Rae. He also holds a BFA in acting from Syracuse University. John’s TV credits include appearances on 30 Rock, Broad City, Difficult People, and The Daily Show, as well as numerous television commercials. His work has been featured in New York Magazine, Esquire, Rolling Stone, The AV Club, and The New Yorker.
