Marena Dunnington (she/her) is a Brooklyn-born Theatre Educator, Director, Producer, and Arts Management Leader. With over a decade of experience creating inclusive, transformative arts education spaces, she proudly leads both Admissions and Operations at the studio.

Marena Dunnington (she/her) is a Brooklyn-born and based Theatre Educator, Director, Producer, and Arts Management Leader. She earned an MA in Applied Theatre (Drama in Educational, Social, and Community Settings) from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2017, following a BA in Theatre with a dual concentration in Directing and Performance Studies from Muhlenberg College.
Marena has spent over a decade creating inclusive, transformative arts education spaces. She has taught drama, directed new work, managed performing arts programs at public charter schools, and produced dozens of events across NYC. She is also the founder of Kahilu Performing Arts Workshop, a nonprofit theatre camp for youth in rural Hawaiʻi, where her family moved when she was entering high school. The program continues to thrive more than twelve years later.
She proudly leads both Admissions and Operations at the studio, serving as Director of Admissions and Studio Manager. Marena is deeply grateful to be part of this community and passionate about fostering spaces where artists can grow with confidence, purpose, and joy.
