Courtney Ferguson

Associate Voice Teacher

Courtney is passionate about creating inclusive voice and speech classes, as she understands that voice and speech work has often felt exclusionary and prescriptive to many students

Courtney is a New York/Atlanta based actress and voice and speech coach, currently teaching at the New York Film Academy in Manhattan. At the present time, she is training under the tutelage of Master teachers Louis Colaianni and Andrea Haring. Courtney is passionate about creating inclusive voice and speech classes, as she understands that voice and speech work has often felt exclusionary and prescriptive to many students. Select performance credits include the Duchess in Richard III, the Abbess in The Comedy of Errors and the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet. She is a proud member of Actors Equity and grateful to be joining the faculty at Terry Knickerbocker Studio.
When she’s not teaching, Courtney is incredibly passionate about Holocaust Education and has most recently volunteered as a docent at the Breman Jewish Heritage Museum in Atlanta. It is a passion of hers to figure out how to combine her love for the arts with Holocaust Education.
